Jesus Christ
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:12
AT THE CROSS

If you have clicked on the salvation button on our contact page, there is a good chance that you are here by the Lords divine leading. The scriptures teach us "that the word of God is quick (alive), powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joint and the marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in HIS sight but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do". Hebrews 4:12-13 Not only does he know the spiritual need in your life but He has given us His word that is fully sufficient in meeting that need. We pray God will bless the time you spend reading this page.
The purpose of this page is to reveal to you what God's Word says about our need for Christ and how to receive Him as Savior. If we are to have the SIN issue resolved in our lives WE MUST MEET THAT JESUS OF NAZARETH AT THE CROSS.
THE SIN ISSUE
The first mention of sin goes back to the book of Genesis. God had placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, a beautiful garden it was. A perfect environment no problems, no worries. There was only one restriction that was placed upon this couple. God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die". (Genesis 2:16-17) It is imperative that we understand that the forbidden tree was not the only source of food in the garden... "out of the ground made the Lord to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food". (Genesis 2:9), but was the object that God used to manifest the inherent flaw that is in every man and woman's heart...a heart of disobedience. Many have wondered why God has not revealed in His Word what type of fruit that was produced by the forbidden tree... Many think is was the apple. It really does not matter the nature of the tree, but the root of the problem was the fruit that came from the heart of Adam and Eve- the fruit of disobedience. It is in all men and women, a heart that is disobedient to the Word of God.
God knew they would be disobedient yet God allows man the free will to choose whether he will obey or not. God foretold of their outcome if they disobeyed..."thou shalt surely die", this death was spiritual... an eternal separation from God in eternity. God's promise of spiritual death is handed down to all that are born, no matter the color of our skin or the origin or time of our birth, "for since by man came death... for in Adam all die". (1 Corinthians 15:21-22)
From the dust of the ground, man was created and when he dies, to dust he shall return, but the soul never dies. Lest we blame all of this on Adam and Eve, it is most certain that you or I would have disobeyed in the same fashion "for their is none righteous, no not one and all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". (Romans 3:10 & 23). "the psalmist says that we were shapen in iniquity; and in sin we were conceived", (Psalm 51:5) that does not mean that our conception was one out of wedlock or procured in an immoral way. It simply means sin is the flaw of every man and woman, and inherent (we are born in it) even before we have done good or bad. This SIN ISSUE is not contingent upon one's actions. It is still a problem even when people are morally good and do good things. When God looks at the soul of man, He sees the same sin that he saw in Adam and Eve. It doesn't matter what good or bad things we have done or will do. The only way to take care of the sin issue is to turn to Christ. Meet him at the cross.
CHRIST OUR PROPITIATION
In the Genesis account when man sinned we are told that the Lord God made coats of skins, and clothed them. Consider this; to make "coats of skins" something must die- an animal it was. An animal was sacrificed the the hide could be used as a covering for Adam and Eve's sin. This means of covering sin followed God's people throughout the old testament history. Sin required death; for the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). It was not the hide or skin used as a covering that is in focus, yet the blood of the animal that was used in the sacrifice for the sin. "For without the shedding of blood in NO REMISSION OF SIN" (Hebrews 9:22). It was the blood sacrifice that was used to appease God for sin of man. God not only required a sacrifice for man's SIN, He sent one...."behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). He sent His Son to be a propitiation "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also himself likewise took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had power of death, that is the devil" (Hebrews 2:14). "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them... for he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of god in him" 2Corinthians 5:19&21. Christ is our propitiation. The word propitiate means to appease and make favorable. When we trust in the sacrificial work of Christ on Calvary alone, we are made righteous by His death. The only way to be made acceptable in Christ is to trust His finished work on the cross.
Friend I don't have to convince you that you are a sinner and in dire need of Christ as you Saviour. In fact, no man can convince you. Only the Spirit of God can bring you to the place that you see yourself the way God sees you and satisfy your heart that Christ will save you, but this only will ye do if you will HUMBLE YOURSELF AT THE CROSS!

God's Plan of Salvation
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
Good works cannot save you.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Trust Jesus Christ today! Here's what you must do:
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" (Romans 3:23)
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)
"If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:10)
Jesus said: "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:5)
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" (Acts 17:30)
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners. Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (John 1:12)
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)
If you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour, as a Christian you should:
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalms 119:105)
"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6)
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" (Matthew 28:19)
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25)
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Timothy 3:16)
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
"For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!" (1 Corinthians 9:16)
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
